Service Description
1. Tournament Format Team Size: 5 players on the field (4 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper), with up to 3–5 substitutes per team. Match Duration: 12 minutes per game (can be split into two halves). Adjust based on the number of teams and time constraints. Tournament Style: • Round Robin: Each team plays against every other team. Knockout: Single elimination after an initial round. Group Stage + Playoffs: Teams compete in groups, then top teams advance to elimination rounds. 2. Venue • Indoor Facility: Ensure it has a futsal or indoor soccer court with clear boundaries • Size: Futsal-sized court • Amenities: Seating, Bathroom and Water Fountain 3. Rules and Regulations • Ball: futsal ball (smaller and less bouncy). • Offside: No offside rule. • Slide Tackling: prohibited to avoid injuries. • Goalkeeper Restrictions: Cannot touch the ball with hands outside the penalty area and may have a time limit for possession. • Duration: Running clock unless referees stop for injuries or delays. 4. Teams and Registration • Number of Teams: 8–10 teams is manageable for one-day tournaments. Larger tournaments may require multiple days or courts. • Roster Submission: Require teams to submit rosters beforehand. • Waiver Forms: Collect signed waivers to cover liability. 5. Scheduling • detailed schedule with game times, matchups, and break period • Opensports will show live matches 6. Referees and Staff • Referees: Hire or recruit referees familiar with futsal rules. • Scorekeepers/Timers: Assign staff to keep track of scores, fouls, and match durations. 7. Prizes • Cancha Hoodies as Prizes • Provide smaller awards for MVP, best goalkeeper, or sportsmanship.
